Does it sound like a familiar dovetail story....It's not.....????

They are not the only characters in this book with secrets. There are two other subplots going on as well. Everyone has something to lose...and one hopes to gain! But I digress. It’s still a fun and fast read, and I would recommend it to fans of the author. I’ve now read all of her domestic suspense books, and this is the only one I didn’t rate 5 stars. If you’re new to her work, I would recommend starting elsewhere. I've been a big fan of Shari Lapena for several years, so I knew I'd enjoy this one too. I enjoyed that several of the characters were morally grey - some were good people who made bad choices, while others were just bad people, and then there were a few characters I was rooting for! Overall, I was very happy with the way this one ended, and I loved the epilogue! A portion of the book takes place in Colorado and I’m about 40 miles away from one of the mentioned towns. It’s always fun to read about familiar settings.

Prepare to embark on thrilling journeys filled with unexpected twists, complex characters, and unrelenting suspense.
